The profanity, the nudity, the violence, the rare amazing sadistic comedy. This is not a movie for the weak stomached or children. If you’re easily offended, or under 17, don’t go see this movie. Now, If you can deal with the morbid humor, the movie will leave you crying from laughter. This is without a doubt Marvel’s  most explicit, unique movie hero and they hold nothing back

Wade Wilson or Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) makes a marvelous superhero for the raunchy film. Reynolds delivers his intricate lines with speed and phenomenal comedic timing. The multiple supporting actors only add to wonderful comedy. The movie is funny, but that is not all it brings to the table.

Deadpool has a fun plot, that develops while keeping the complexity of the storyline rather simple. It also draws in the audience on an emotional level, which is surprising given the film’s coarse nature. It catches you in a romantic soft spot in the middle of all the action.  Deadpool makes you cry, laugh, gasp, gag and so much more.

So what else does it deliver besides wonderful acting and plot ? The superhero experience. The movie still holds true to the Marvel movie franchise. Deadpool has a superpower that only adds to the movie’s entertainment, but I’d rather not spoil it’s nature or how it’s acquired. It also employs the smooth feel that can be found throughout the Marvel movies. It is almost a two hour long film that feels like one hour. If anything, many wish the movie was longer.

In summary, I’m giving Deadpool a stellar 9/10. I went an saw this movie three times and still leave the theater impressed. It has an engaging story, with a wonderful comedic and emotional flare. The acting and cast for the film is spot on.  Now, for many movies I’ve reviewed it seems this resume only warrants a 7 or 8. What pushes Deadpool far above is the fact that it’s crafted so well that you can watch it over and over and over, which is a rare find in cinema today.
