Parking Pass Problems

The parking pass at Milford High School is $70 for a full year, and $36 for half a year. Some students at the school feel that they don’t get their money’s worth out of the pass. Other students feel that they get most of their money out of the pass, but they should be cheaper.

Hunter Long, a sophomore at MHS, says that, “We don’t get our money out of the passes. They are way too expensive and should be half as much.” Hunter is getting his driver’s license soon and he is outraged at the price. He will only be able to drive to school for a month , and he thinks that it is not fair that he has to pay $36 for a parking pass for 1 month of driving.

Daniel Onofrio, a sophomore who has been driving to school for almost half a year, thinks that we should have to pay for parking passes, but thinks it’s fair that we should only pay about $45. “The parking passes are a great idea, but we don’t get our money out of it, we should have to pay less.”
