2016 NFL draft might be one of the best ever

2015 is over and free agency has come and gone. But there still seems to be a lot of NFL teams that are in need of talent. Luckily the NFL Draft is only a week away, and this class seems loaded with talents in the right places.

There are many players that highlight this 2016 draft class, almost all will be selected in the first round, but there is enough for everyone.

There are plenty of players that will rock the headlines, such as Ohio States Joey Boss and, Ezekiel Elliot, or Carson Wentz, Jared Goff, or the extremely talented OT Laremy Tunsil. There are some elite players at those politicians and you may see all of those players gone before the top 10 picks are done.

“This draft has a lot of talent but isn’t a very speedy class. 40 times have not been very good,” said Troy Woodrow, a senior at Milford.

This draft class being loaded with talent isn’t true in all positions though. A recently rich position in more recent drafts at the WR position is very lacking in this one. In recent years we have seen the likes of Odell Beckham Jr., Sammy Watkins, and Jarvis Landry.

There hasn’t been a lackluster class in a little while, just a few years after the 2014 class was loaded with Sammy Watkins, Odell Beckham Jr, Mike Evans, and Brandin Cooks. Teams are always looking for a guy who can intimidate defenses and there are players like that, but not all around ones like in recent years.

“I think this is going to be a weird draft. There are so many defensive players for this draft and most of them being lineman” Said Kyle Thompson, a senior at Milford.

Where we lack in receivers, they make up for an DT’s. Loaded with players like Jarran Reed, Sheldon Rankins, and other very athletic interior lineman. There are many players who would go in first rounds in other drafts that will drop to 2nd or 3rd rounds. Or you can just get a physical freak in the first round.

All of these players are getting less and less attention due to a couple of players. Jared Goff and Carson Wentz. As arguably the top-2 QB’s in this draft, and a huge trade that looks like it will have one of them going #1 overall, insiders can’t wait to go ahead and make their mock drafts.

The newly acquainted Los Angeles Rams have traded the Titans for the rights to the overall #1 pick and they looked prime to take, what they feel is their last piece, a quarterback. But which one? There is a lot of speculation just like any draft, but it seems they know which one they want, or they would not make a deal like that.

Recently following the Rams blockbuster trade for the #1 pick, the Eagles made one of their own. As a QB-needy took the #1 pick, the Eagles felt they needed to move to the #2 pick so they can get one of the top QB’s in this draft. These trades alone make this an interesting draft because the top talented players that aren’t QB’s such as Tunsil, or Ramsey, will drop to teams that aren’t in the top 2.

There are many other players to shift your attention to as well. Where will Ezekiel Elliot land? Rumors say maybe Dallas, Philadelphia, or Miami. The talent that this kid has is off of the charts, and many say he is the best running back since Adrian Peterson.

Also out of Ohio State is DE Joey Bosa. Scouts love the Never-ending motor that keeps him driving late in plays, and the pursuit to keep him around the ball. All of these traits he has, locks him in as a top 10 pick if not top 5.

Laremy Tunsil seems to be a lock to go in the top 5 as a dominant OT. He probably would have been #1 overall if Tennessee had kept their pick, but now it is a question on who takes him.

There was one other player that would have challenged him as the top player for the Titans, and that would be arguably the best defensive back in recent years draft memory. Jalen Ramsey was an all around DB who played corner and safety but has the athleticism of a play-maker any defense can use.
