Major accomplishments include KVC individual champion in Cross Country, 2-time MHSAA State Team Champion in Cross Country, state team champion 3200 Relay, and 2-Time National Champion in the 4x mile relay and Distance Medley Relay.

Marty Neighbors was a Teacher and Coach at Milford for 34 years, as well as a 43 Years Total Coaching at Milford, WL Central, and Oak Park. He also taught in Huron valley schools for 40 years and coached boys and girls soccer for 7 years. His Coaching Record at Milford is 272 wins with 76 losses. Major accomplishments include 16 Divisional Championships; 3 LVC Championships; 1 SEMSL Championship, 6 MHSAA Regional Championships; 26 MHSAA State Finals Appearances, A Member of the Michigan High School Ski Coaches Hall of Fame

G.O.A.L League Girl’s Cross Country Champion 1976, Milford Cross Country Most Valuable Girl 1976, 14th 1975, 9th 1976 Informal Girl’s State Cross Country Meet At Ann Arbor Pioneer High School, At the time of graduation, Jane had the Girl’s top time at, Kensington and for Milford on any course, for 3 miles, Graduated Milford High School with a 4.0 and was Co-Valedictorian
