Andrew Tate has been working at Milford High schools for a total of 6 months. He started working at MHS at the end of the 2022-2023 school year. Tate went to South Lyon high school and graduated from Ferris State College. He went to school to be a teacher. Tate spoke about how he liked working at MHS, “It’s fun, I enjoy it. People are fun to talk with, it helps me get into what I went to school for. Tate talked about what his favorite things about working at MHS are, “The free lunch and getting to walk around and talk to everyone and get to know them.” Tate went on to talk about some of his hobbies, “I’m a big sports guy, I like watching and playing sports. I also collect sports trading cards. I play a lot of Pokemon go. I like going outside and hiking, as well as enjoying the outdoors. Amanda Tesolin worked as a hall monitor for 4 months and spent the last few working with Tate. Tesolin had stated, “It was nice, I liked having a coworker who did the same thing as me.” Tesolin talked about what was her favorite thing to do with Andrew, “We exchanged a lot of Tiktok videos with each other at lunch.” Tesolin says she would like to work with Tate again, “If the pay was better. I enjoyed working with Andrew and getting to know him.” Andrew loves working with students and can’t wait to finally become a teacher one day, but is currently content working as a hall monitor at MHS.
