High school plays a major part in most people’s lives. It is a time they will never forget. They either think it’s the best time they ever had, the worst, or they just showed up because they had to.

But during high school all you hear is information about college. What college are you going to? What do you want to study? Are you excited to be going to college?

Those are some of the basic questions students get asked. There is a lot of thought that goes into making a big decision like picking what college you want to go to. But it is also very bittersweet.

People sometimes meet their best friend in college or even in high school.

“I am nervous about meeting new people because it’s such a big school that the friendships I make might not last and become good friends,” said Senior Brenna Grass.

Many people love the thought of going to college because they can start over and forget about high school.

“I want to meet new people and start a new chapter in my life,” said Natalie Kerwin.

People also keep their best friend from high school, which can make their college experience better and easier to get through.

“ I am excited to be rooming with my best friend,” Said Anna Manning.

College is also the time people never forget, it’s one of the most important parts of your life and helps to determine your future.
