HOT robotics team heads to states

Last weekend, the Huron Valley HOT team went to competition in the Howell district. They won the Howell competition with their partners the Bionic Blackhawks team 2834 from Bloomfield Hills and Wings of Fire team 51 from Pontiac.

The team finished qualifiers ranked in first place and also brought home the Quality Award.

To qualify for states, teams must earn enough points at their district competitions. Out of 411 Michigan teams, 102 will qualify.

The HOT team is currently ranked 1st in the state. The state tournament will take place April 13-16, and worlds will be April 27-30.
