There is now a new and exciting game club atMilford High School.
Happening every Wednesday after school, a game club will be held in room 400 from 2 p.m until3 p.m.The game club is a great way to have fun with friends and meet your classmates after school and compete in classic board games and video games.
The club offers many fun games to play from classics like Jenga and Uno to more recent video games. The game club has access to a Nintendo Wii and many games like Wii sports and an Xbox 360 with Kinect.
If you’re not familiar with the Xbox 360 kinect system, members say you should come to game club and experience a motion detecting system that creates controller free game play.
Mrs. Evans, the MHS TIES teacher, organized the club meeting in her classroom after school.
“I already stay after school, so why not let my students come and have a great time with their classmates after school,” said Evans. “It’s a great way to meet fellow Milford High School students and have a great time.”
On top of meeting new classmates, students enjoy competing in games.
Josh Morse a sophomore, enjoyed going to the club.
“The first day game club started there weren’t a lot of people who came, but it still was a great time,” said Morse.
“I hope once the word gets out about the game club a lot more students will show up and have a great time playing games with friends.”
Everyone who goes to game club seems to have a great time. If you are every free on a Wednesday after school be sure to go check out the fun happening in room 400.
