Kylie Jenner gave birth to her second child on Feb. 2nd of this year. The world has been anticipating her son’s name for several months prior to his birth, and yet for some reason she still has not revealed his official name and it is driving people insane.

On Feb. 11th, Kylie made a post to her Instagram story reading “Wolf Webster” followed by a heart emoji, officially revealing her son’s name. The internet took this by storm when the news was released, blowing up on every social media platform. The feedback and opinions on her choice to name her baby “Wolf” was, however, not so great. Multiple people made posts making fun of the name choice such as a photo uploaded by user @jackwyattss that read “Kylie Jenner spotted with new baby wolf”, and showed a photo of Kylie pushing a stroller with her son inside, with a wolf’s head photoshopped onto his. After the endless memes and jokes regarding her name choice, she made an additional Instagram story post on Mar. 21st that said “FYI our son’s name isn’t Wolf anymore. We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”

Some time went by as people waited for the official new and improved name of her child, but it never seemed to come. People became antsy and began to try and find clues within her Instagram posts and other social media, and came up with names such as Jack, Travis, Astro, and more, but one piece of evidence really seemed to top all of the guesses. Kylie has a long list of trademarks, and one was recently added  as of April 30th, called “Kristan Wolf Scott Enterprises” which includes the distributions of baby toys, action figures, dolls and doll accessories. This leads people to believe that her child’s name is actually Kristan, named after his grandmother, Kris Jenner. Although she still has made no official claims, this trademark is sort of a dead giveaway.

Kylie appeared on the James Cordon show in early September, with her mom Kris Jenner, to discuss why she won’t reveal the new name. Cordon asked Kylie “Now initially, you named him Wolf, then you decided you were going to change his name. Where are we with that? Have you changed the name?” to which Jenner responded, “We haven’t officially legally changed the name. His name is still Wolf, his passport’s Wolf, but that isn’t going to be his name. We’re just waiting.” She continues on to explain that she isn’t ready to share the name before it is legally changed and they know for sure that the new name is what her and the father of the baby, singer Travis Scott, want before it is set into stone.

Whether it be due to privacy or a marketing tactic, which the Kardashians seem to be full of, we really have no idea when they will release the new name, but we can assume that whatever they finally choose is sure to be unique and one that will never be forgotten.
