50 minutes away from Milford will present what has been claimed as “Flint’s top Haunted House.” The story is based off St. Lucifer’s Asylum for the mentally insane, which once housed 12,000 patients and 700 staff members and was closed by the state in 1974. While visiting the Asylum, stop by its new haunted attraction called 13 Feet Under. Bring $15 dollars and add fright to the night. For more information visit http://www.fearfest.net
Each year brings new experiences for thrill lovers. But sometimes hearing about attractions from the past is just as pleasing as being at one.
“I went on this haunted trail once, through the woods and it was fun to experience the thrill,” said Kristy Carlson, a sophomore, about her haunted house experience. “Everyone was running through the woods away from a guy with a saw.” Everyone’s experience at a haunted attraction will be different and vary by the person, especially depending on where they visit.
Whatever is done this Halloween season, remember to get scared a bit and enjoy the nice crisp air.
