Your Milford Girls Varsity Basketball team competed in the district finals this past Friday against Lakeland. The girls team had not won the title of within the last 15 years,  and Lakeland has had held the title for 2 years. As Lakeland struggled to defend their championship title, they fell leaving Milford with a 28-18 victory, snagging the MHSAA Girls District Championship.

Leading Milford to their victory was Junior Mallory Barrett with 12, and Megan Wallace with 9. Great season ladies! Keep it up for the coming years.
