Students prepare for most difficult tests of high school

From May 2 to May 13, students took Advanced Placement tests. For many students this is a very stressful week. Some of these students consider this week more stressful than finals or midterms.

The AP US History class is the most taken AP class in Milford High School.  The class is taught by Mr.Eichbauer and a large percentage of sophomores take the class.

Daniel Onofrio, a sophomore at MHS, took the AP exam on Friday.

“There is not a lot of stress involved, but it gets really stressful when you haven’t studied or have not prepared for it.”

Onofrio believes you should have to take a final along with the AP test. Onofrio says that studying and reviewing old notes are key to not being stressed out and you’re prepared when you take the test.

Jacob Dahlmann, a junior at MHS, is taking AP Environmental Science this year.

“After taking a few AP tests and other standardized tests like the SAT and ACT, the stress pretty much went away.”

Dahlmann is now used to taking regular or standardized tests and believes that there is nothing to worry about when taking them if you studied. Jacob also believes that we should have to take the AP test and the final for any AP classes you are taking.
