Students and teachers excited for Boston

On May 7th, the AP US History class is going to Boston on a trip that has happened annually for many years. Around 40 kids will be going on the trip. They will visit places like Harvard University, Fenway Park, Faneuil Hall (a giant marketplace), Salem, Lexington, and Concord, and they will be even going on a ghost tour.

Mr.Eichbauer, the class’s teacher, has been to Boston four times, but it is his first time going on the school trip. He is looking forward to Fenway Park and the ghost tour. He believes the trip will be good for the students because “ by having direct exposure of early American history, they will appreciate it and they can step back in time.” Eichbauer is hoping to continue the tradition of the trip for years to come.

“I’m looking forward to seeing new things and spending time with my friends” said Hunter Long, a sophomore at MHS. He is also looking forward to the trip because of the good memories he hopes to make. Hunter signed up because the trip sounded like it would be fun, and he will be able to get to see and learn new things in Boston. Long is looking forward to seeing Harvard and the city of Boston itself.
